All custom wigs are made with care and patience so once I receive your bundles, your wig will ship on or before the following week. 

Example: If your bundles are received Monday, May 1st. Your wig will ship on or before May 10th

Bundles receipt date: Monday, the 1st 

Wig Ship date: On or before Friday, the 10th (the following week)

1. What if my wig doesn't fit and I need readjustment?

  • If your wig does not fit, you can resend me your wig for reconstruction. A fee will not be applied until after 30 days. You must email your order number and resend me your wig within 30 days of receiving the wig. 

2. How many bundles do I need for a full wig?

  • We recommend 2-4 bundles depending on how much volume you prefer. 
For a natural look, 2-3 bundles is sufficient for a full wig hairstyle. For a more voluminus look, 3-4 bundles is sufficient for a full wig hairstyle.
  • For styles shorter than 14 inches, we prefer 2 - 2 1/2 bundles for a natural look. If you want thicker hair, you will need additional bundles for your desired density. 

Example:

Natural/Medium Density: 130% (2-2 1/2 bundles) 

Medium to Heavy Density: 150%-180%- (2-3 bundles)

Heavy Density: 200% & up (More volume, 3 bundles & up)

3. Is this hair human har?

  • Yes! Our human hair extensions are 100% virgin, unprocessed and ethically sourced from reputable vendors.

4. Does the hair shed and how do I maintain my hair?

  • Just like all hair, yes there is minimal shedding but that is normal since our hair is human hair. You would treat the hair just as you would your own. Wash, deep condition, and use minimal heating tools.

5. How long will my wig last?

  • Our hair and wigs can last for year with proper handling and maintenance. 

6. I never received my order confirmation?

  • If you have not received an order confirmation, please email dolcehairtresses@gmail.com 

7. I am trying to add what style I want for my custom wig (middle part, side part, baby hairs, etc.), where can I add or make changes?

  • Once you finish adding your information, there is a section at the very bottom where you can add additional notes or make comments. You can specify what you would like to add to your custom wig. If you want a certain style, you can send all pictures to dolcehairtresses@gmail.com with your order number!

8. Ok, so I placed my custom wig order, what now?

  • Once you placed your order, signed below, and submitted your payment. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours with instructions on where to send us your hair. For additional questions or concerns, you can email dolcehairtresses@gmail.com

9. How are refunds/exchanges handled for the Bring Your Own Bundles service?

  • All orders are final sale only. No refunds will be made unless previously used hair has been sent. For now, we only offer free reconstruction services, but no refunds will be applied.
  • We recommend emailing us at dolcehairtresses@gmail.com for a free consultation to avoid the need to refund or exchange the wig. 
  • For bundles, frontals/closures, and wigs in the wig catalog, please refer to our Store Policy for more information on returns/exchanges.

10. How do I measure my head?

  • You can refer to our measuring guide and video attached below. If you would like a step by step guide, you can email us for a 15-30 min consultation on how to measure your head. .
11. Can I send you previously used bundles?
  • We do not accept used bundles, it is a longer process and takes more time to care for used bundles. If we receive used bundles, your wig order will be cancelled/refunded and the hair will be sent directly back to you. We would love to make you a wig, but it takes more time to successfully make your crown with used bundles. 

12. Oops, I made a mistake and need to cancel my order!

  • To cancel an order, email dolcehairtresses@gmail.com within 24 hours. Subject line should read "URGENT-CANCEL..." with the order number.

13. My order says delivered, but never received my wig or bundles.

  • We are not responsible for any errors made by postal services. Once the wig is out of our possession and you receive a tracking number, we are not liable for lost or damaged wigs, bundles, or accessories. We can only offer to reconstruct or fix any damages done to the wig within 30 days. 

14. How long is shipping?

  • For Hair & Wings Order confirmations will be emailed 24-48 hours after placing the order. 
  • Wig processing time for Build Your Own Wig: 7-21 business days (weekends not included, refer to the example above).
Wig Processing Time for wigs in the Preorder Wig Catalog: 7-21 Business days.
  • Normal shipping: 7-10 business days
  • Standard shipping- 3-5 business days
  • Express shipping- 2-3 days business days

Processing Time for Hair Bundles & Wig Accessories: 1-3 Business Days

Tracking numbers are automatically emailed once hair has been shipped, after 1-3 Business days

In person pickup is not available at this time.
